Steel Gardens is a townhome community in the Arts District of Charlotte. Steel Gardens is a new community by Bonterra Builders (a Union county builder) who is trying their hand at urban construction. These townhomes feature large roof-top terraces, private patios or garages, and modern finishes worthy of the name Steel Gardens. These townhomes are being constructed on a site that formerly held a old steel mill and is another commercial land re-use project that the city has been encouraging developers to undertake.
