| Vue Charlotte Opens Model |
|
One of the only residential condominiums that continues construction through this economy, Vue Charlotte, has just opened a model. Although construction is still progressing on the building, private tours of a finished model provide the first look at the finished product that will be Vue Charlotte. As the tallest condominium in Southeast, Vue Charlotte will provide the most amenities in the most luxurious building in the Uptown. Construction is progressing rapidly as the amenity deck is taking form and the glass covering more of the building ever week. There are 15 floors left to be poured on the building until the 52-story building tops-out. The top floor of the building is projected to be poured in August and the building will be covered in glass by October. If construction progresses as scheduled, the developer is expecting to start closings in July of 2010. While the amenity deck is still under construction, the massive expanse that will provide the community features emphasizes what a large focus the community elements will be to this building. From the 1,000 bottle wine vault to the tennis/basketball court, this building will provide the most community focused options of any building to date. The freshly opened model is located on the 4th floor on the city-facing side of the building. The unit that is currently open is slightly different than most units in the building due to the 2-car garage that is attached to the unit. Rather than parking in the general parking deck, the unit has a private accessed garage within the deck that is also connected to the unit…providing more exclusivity beyond the privately accessed parking deck. This is most likely a feature to be appreciated by the car connoisseur looking for single family privacy with the Uptown lifestyle. The model of the Vue is a 3BR 3BA 2,700sf unit. Priced at $1.4M, this home provides premium finishes with great views of the Uptown. The kitchen features the standard Bosch and Thermador appliances with solid wood cabinets and solid wood railings on the drawers. The cabinet depth refrigerator is actually flush with the cabinets with doors that swivel and extend beyond the cabinets when opening. Built-in wine refrigerators as well as premium stone counter-tops are also provided in these homes. The bathrooms feature porcelain and marble flooring as well as jetted showers and heat-infused or infinity tubs. Vessel sinks sit atop the solid wood vanity in the bathrooms as well. The bathrooms provide the luxury that you would expect in a premium Uptown home. Overall, the quality of the product in the Vue is what you would expect when investing $1.4M into a home. There are a few personal touches that an owner may decide to be fitting for a home this price—such as replacing the wire shelving with custom closet systems, installing a tile backsplash, or adding blinds to the massive walls of windows throughout the home. Tours of the building are expected to be available to the public in the coming months. The building is an active construction site so weekend tours will be available by appointment only.
