The Boulevard Company has announced their plans to build three condominiums in Uptown and SouthEnd. There are three sites that will be home to two different products designed to target first-time buyers. They will be offering 2BR flats in Uptown and SouthEnd starting at $150k and 3BR townhomes in SouthEnd starting at $250k. These projects are designed to sell quickly and to be built in a timely fashion. Construction should take less than 6 months once construction begins.

 

The Uptown site is located on near the corner of 6^th and Irwin next to Gateway Village. Condos These condos are 2BR/2BA flats with about 900sf of living space. Details have not been released about finishes but hardwoods, granite, and tile are expected to be standards. For 900sf, the living spaces are spacious and open with dimensions of approximately 12 x 19.

 

The first SouthEnd site will offer the same building design and floor plan on the corner of Summit and Church St. Located a block from the Summit Light Rail Stop, these condos will start at $149k and will provide balcony or a veranda depending on the level in the building. Designed to be efficient and affordable, these homes will provide more space for less money than is traditionally seen in the SouthEnd.

 

The last site in SouthEnd is located directly on the light rail line at the Summit Ave stop. These 3BR/3.5BA townhome-style units will offer a 1-car garage, brick exterior, balcony, and great skyline views. Priced from $250k, these homes will measure in around 1,300sf and will provide premier access to the light rail. Located between the Charlotte Trolley Museum and the Fowler Building, this development will be located on what is currently a parking lot. The complex will consist of 7 units and will be legally organized as a condominium rather than townhomes.

 

Reservations are being taken for $500(which is fully refundable). 5% deposit will be required to go to contract when the legal documents are prepared. MyTownhome is representing the developer in these projects that are looking to get off the ground quickly.
